PADI Scuba Diving Courses
Have you been wondering what it is like to breath underwater? A PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is a great way to find out what scuba diving is like before you take the full scuba certification course.
Our scuba instructor will spend a little time with you to explain basic principles of scuba diving and give you an overview of your scuba gear which is supplied by the dive shop.
Once you feel comfortable, your instructor will take you in the pool to help you learn basic scuba skills. Then if you like, you can go with your instructor for a short discovery dive all around the pool. Most discover scuba sessions last aproximately one hour.
The skills you learn during your Discover Scuba Diving experience may be credited toward the full PADI Open Water Certification.
The cost for a PADI Discover dive is $35. If you decide that you really want to learn to scuba dive and sign up for Open Water, the $35 will be deducted from the price of your Open Water certification. So it's really like getting your Discover Scuba Dive FREE.
PADI Open Water Course
If you have always wondered what lies beneath the surface, now is the time to find out. Start the journey of a lifetime with the PADI Open Water Diver course. It will change you forever.
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, your PADI Instructor takes you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive. You start in a pool or pool-like conditions and progress to the open water (ocean, lake, quarry, etc.) getting the background knowledge along the way.
Earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification is just the beginning. As a certified diver, fabulous dive destinations, exciting people, unparalleled adventure and uncommon tranquility await you. And, as you continue your adventure and gain experience through higher training levels, your opportunities expand.
- Number of Dives: Five Confined Water Dives and Four Open Water Dives
- Knowledge Development: Five sessions
- Prerequisites: 10yrs old for Junior Open Water Diver and 15yrs old and up for Open Water Diver. Good health, reasonable fitness and comfort in the water.

PADI Advanced Open Water Course
Move up and experience real adventure with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. As you step beyond the PADI Open Water Diver level, you make five dives and have the opportunity to try some of divings most rewarding and useful specialty activities, such as deep diving, digital underwater photography, wreck diving and much more. These skills make diving much more than underwater sightseeing. Plus, the Advanced Open Water Diver course takes you one step closer to Master Scuba Diver - the ultimate non professional certification in recreational diving.
With your PADI Instructor you complete the deep and underwater navigation Adventure Dives. These dives boost your confidence as you build these foundational skills. Then, you choose three additional dives from more than 15 Adventure Dives to complete your course. You can go diving at night, check out the local wrecks in the area or even fly through the ocean on a diver propulsion vehicle - all during your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.

PADI Multilevel Diver

In this course, you learn how to plan dives that extend your bottom time by crediting you for slower nitrogen absorption when you ascend to a shallower depth. PADI Divemaster Course
Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.
What you learn
During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems. You put this knowledge into action through an internship or series of practical training exercises. Knowledge Development: 12 topics ranging from dive theory to assisting student divers in training
Prerequisites
- 18 years old
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifing certification from another training organization)
- An Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary Care (or qualifying first aid & CPR training from another organization) Course completion within the past 24 months
- It is recommended that you have both your Deep Diver Specialty AND Search & Recovery Diver Specialty, but not mandatory.
- Have at least 40 logged dives to begin course and 60 for certification
What you can teach
After becoming certified as a PADI Divemaster you will be authorized to:
- Supervise both training and non-training-related activities by planning, organizing and directing activities
- Assist a PADI Instructor during the training sessions for any PADI Diver course
- Conduct the PADI Skin Diver course and PADI Discover Snorkeling program
- Conduct the PADI Discover Local Diving experience
- Conduct the PADI Scuba Review program
- If qualified as Discover Scuba Diving Leader, independently conduct the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program
- Earn the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty Instructor rating to be able to teach the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer specialty
- Independently guide Open Water Diver students on the tour portion of Open Water Diver course Training Divers 2, 3, and 4 at a ratio of two student divers per certified divemaster
- Accompany Open Water Diver students under the indirect supervision of a PADI Instructor during:
* surface swims to and from the entry/exit point and during navigational exercises
* when the instructor conducts a skill, such as an ascent or descent, a Divemaster can remain with other student divers (with an individual student or buddy team) - Accompany student divers during Adventure Dives or Specialty training dives under the indirect supervision of a PADI Instructor
- Conduct the PADI Seal Team Skin Diver Specialist AquaMission
- Conduct subsequent dives under an instructor's indirect supervision for Discover Scuba Diving participants after participants have satisfactorily completed the first dive with a PADI Instructor
- Teach Emergency First Response courses after successfully completing an Emergency First Response Instructor course
